Phantom Limb Pain...

I'm suprised nobody finds this interesting to them
???

It's very interesting, but I don't agree with him on all points...for example, why does visual stimulation alone seem to ease the pain of phantom limbs? While the body may be capable of producing mentally-induced pain to such an acute degree, I can't believe it until I see it, and I believe there is some underlying cause or problem that has not been adresssed. We'll see.

Well it probably depends on the person with the lost limb

Yes, phantom limb is fascinating. The brain can adapt to a lot of things, but it seems like this is one of the exceptions.

Speaking of pain. OMG, Algophiliac, that is one sick avatar.
