I'm not much of an avid reader, especially when it comes to current events. I know that there will be essays that require me to state an opinion about a "health care issue" or something along the lines of that.

Are there any websites or iPhone apps that you would recommend?

It really depends on your schools. I didn't really have any essays that asked me to talk about health care issues, but I did get asked a similar question in one of my interviews. I would definitely check out the APhA website. Maybe even talk to a few pharmacists or google up some recent pharmacy articles to see what is trending. I would definitely be prepared to discuss them in an interview setting as well.
