Pharm Experience!!!

I am a rising Junior in my Chem/Math undergrad program at a small liberal arts college. I have been searching for experience in a Pharmacy for two summers now. I volunteered at a regional hospital last summer, but was told it was against policy to allow outsiders into the hospital pharmacy. This summer I took a research project in Theoretical Math, which has largely confirmed my decision to be a Pharmacist (Fascinating, respectfable area, but so boring to me!) Well, I have one summer left before the application process begins and have yet to gain any Pharmacy experience. I have a contact to Walgreens pharmacies which I obtained last summer while volunteering. Is it too late to call this person back and inquire about any opportunities? I was also thinking about calling the pharmacy college and asking for their suggestions. Right now I am most worried about my lack of experience. Any suggestions about my situation would be great! In the mean time, I'll be working in an Organic Chem research lab, and working to get an internship at a bio fuels manufacturer in the spring.

I would try asking independent pharmacy, they will love volunteers. I don't think the major chain company will allow you to be a volunteer.
