hey i wanted to know if anybody had any ideas to help with pharm. for one reason or another i just cannot seem to remember any of the names of drugs, SEs, CIs in the long term. For short term exams it hasnt been an issue, but looking back at block 2 drugs i hardly remember anything about them and if i do lets say remember a MOA i cant remember which drug it is for. Anybody have an tools or methods that helps them remember everything and keep it straight. appreciate the help

I second sketchy pharm even though I did not really like it because the videos were a lot longer and harder to memorize then sketchy micro. However, I think it is still your best bet

Sketchy and anki for pharm and micro are two things people should do even if they don't like anki. It's not that many cards and it is clearly by far the best way to know this stuff cold and get easy points on boards. Do not neglect to do this or overthink it trying to be unique.

anki i have learned to love but sketchy on the other hand i find harder to use, im not someone who really remembers by hearing other people talk if that makes sense, which is also why lectures are a wast for me, does sketchy have a transcript of the videos by chance

Sketchy is completely visual. You cant just watch em once and think youll have em down. I watched evry sketchy pharm and micro video probably 4 or 5 times over the past year or so

You don't even need to watch the videos. Consider watching once at 2x ideally but just using the cards with the pictures from the sketches is perfectly fine. It could have been a comic book style resource and it still would have worked fine. No context needed at all, honestly. Just use the zanki/notacop/whatever the new anking deck is. Choosing the perfect deck is less important than just getting it done.

So true! When I see the answer choices are all bug or drug names, I’m like “yes! Free points!” 😆
