Anyone used Pharm Recall and like it? Would Pharm Recall + FA be enough for the boards?

enough for what? to pass? probably attending 2nd year classes and keeping up with reading is enough to pass, but yet plenty of people do way more than that and still fail. its all how you assimilate.

it would be bad advice to tell you that is enough, although both books are good.

edit: nevermind, I see now that maybe you were asking if it was enough for pharm. Sorry...I do like the pharm recall book, but I used the Lange pharm book by Katzug and Trevor (the smaller review book, not the big beast). Its not that bad a read and the last part of the book is several pages of high yield lines about each drug. Its worth reading just for that.

The general consensus here is that FA alone is enough for pharm, and that it's probably the only source you need. I keep hearing this over and over so there must be some truth to it.

Also, I used Pharm Recall for some sections to clarify concepts. That book actually has more information than it looks to have. A few drugs in there are obscure and probably a waste of time, but if you use it in conjunction with FA you should be golden.

Good luck.
