Has anyone participated in any research/project w/ professors without any prior experience? I'm in my first year in pharmacy school and would like to be involved in biomed research. It's almost impossible for first year students to get an internship...it's only offered to third/fourth year students.

Contact the professor you are interested in working with and ask them if they have any opportunities available. The worst they can say is no...and if they don't have an opportunity at this time, they might know a professor who does or keep you in mind for the future.

My college OSA maintains a list of professors who want PharmDs to help them with their research. You should see if your college have such a list. If they want any prereqs, it's always in the description.
