How do interviews to pharmacy schools work out? Do you have to be at the school in person or could it be done over the phone, email, video, etc? For instance, I think it would be a bit hard for someone living in Georgia to carry out an interview in person with a school in New York.

You are required to travel unless they specifically tell you that you have options. I would imagine they talk about the interview process on their website.

totally agree. You have to get there. That's why everyone's spending lots on the application process. Aside from application fees, you have to spend on travel, lodging, food, suits.. blah blah blah

I've seen some posts where the school does phone interview, but that is the exception, not the norm. I had to fly from SoCal to Portland, rent a car, and pay for a Hotel for my interview at Oregon State. When you're dreams are on the line you do what it takes, even though it cost me an arm and a leg (and blood/sweat/tears😱 )

Often times phone interviews serve as a secondary interview to an in person on. My school (University of Colorado) does a phone interview in addition to the in person one for english as a 2nd language people.
