Hey guys I remember reading something like if you become a pharmacy technician then you have a harder time getting financial aid. Has anyone else heard of this.

I am currently a senior undergrad, got about a year to go. If it's true about the financial aid then I will just not get a tech certificate.

Thanks in advance for you input.

Sounds like bull.

If anything, being a tech will give you more of a chance becasue it'll demonstrate many things such as that you truly like the pharmacy profession and that you have experience in the area.

well maybe if you make a ton of money from ur tech job that u won't qualify for financial aid. But let me tell they make very little so i wouldn't worry abt it. LOL

It didn't stop me from getting financial aid, but I was working only part time. But like the above poster said, it really shouldn't matter even if you work full time, since most techs usually don't make that much.

getting a job in general might make you lose finanicial aid grants[the free money] IF you make too much money.
