Hi

When you paid for your chair at Pearson Vue, what is the need for pharmas again, do they send your pcat score, GPA to the school for you. Can you do it on your own? Just trying to understand the pharmacas website?

Pearson Vue will send your scores to pharmcas if you selected any schools that participate in the pharmcas application process as a courtesy. Pharmcas will forward your info., coursework, gpa, PCAT, recommendations, and all other application material (excluding school specific supplement apps) to the designated schools. So when you choose schools to send scores, I suggest you choose one pharmcas participating school and the remaining two schools that do not (if you are applying to such school), so that you will not have to pay extra to send scores. Some schools prefer their own applications rather than pharmcas so for each non-participating school, you have to create a whole new application, send PCAT scores, official transcripts, recommendation letters, etc. Pharmcas simplifies the application process so that one complete application can be sent to multiple schools.

I did not think of this when signing up for the PCAT, therefore have to spend the extra money to send scores to a non-pharmcas school that I ended up deciding to apply to.
