I wish people on Truvada had the same sense of compliance as those cholesterol patients.
Yeah, that never works when you tell them that. Plus side: at least they care enough about their health to want to take their meds daily!

He’s more than likely lying about some parts of his story and I’m going to be real, OP doesn’t sound too bright. The racial slur in the OP didn’t help his case and he probably has a history of doing shady stuff like this.Sorry man that's terrible. And sorry that people are kicking you while you're down. There's no point in questioning why he did that or what he should have done. The punishment he received was over the top.

Well it isn’t clear which word he was using because of the way he chose to censor it. In any case the OP seems off and there is always another side to stories like these. I feel not one ounce of sympathy. You sincerely think a racial slur there is more likely than an f-bomb?
You made a huge unsubstantiated accusation. It would be more appropriate to say, "yeah, I was likely way off with that, my bad" than double downWell it isn’t clear which word he was using because of the way he chose to censor it. I don’t know that I was way off though, and you don’t know for sure what he was actually trying to say.You made a huge unsubstantiated accusation. It would be more appropriate to say, "yeah, I was likely way off with that, my bad" than double down
An f-bomb is absolutely more likely.

Any yes, this fits megj's situation very much so.This will probably get me banned but you just reminded me of this:
People who annoy you
Fake. The “i” in the next to last word isn’t shown.
Pretty sure megj is one of the easily offended "snowflake generation"- as such she's been taught from the ground up to look for things like this even if they aren't there and expose the culprits involved (like that makes her a good person for doing so). Let's give her a trophy for "trying". This forum if for the big kids- you can go back to pre-pharm now...Yeah, no one else thought that was a racial slur but you dude.
People who have inaccurate info on Esteem and similar databases have sued them for FCRA violations. I don’t think them having accurate data offers the same legal recourse.I had a valid script. just not on me. believe me ive tried to get hired. Over 1200 applications. Esteem is for low income wage earners not pharmacists. Theres no mention of it in compliance training. Maybe they do now. Pharmacists blatantly taking thousands of dollars of drugs were not put on it. It violates FCRA is does not allow for due process. I was the only pharmacist on duty and I take it for bipolar. I was tasered five times when they discovered I had bipolar in 2007. There was no means of charging at the time. To create a script was a false document. My doctor would not prescribe partial meds. Emergency supplies are not theft. an expert on consumer law says im the only pharmacist in the US on it. Esteem is illegal in the UK etc.

How could someone's negative life experience bring you any satisfaction? Even if saying he took a couple of pills without prescription is wrong and illegal, he still has not harmed anyone by his actions. I get it there are consequences for his actions, but how far can we go on punishing someone? You should've studied harder in pharmacy law.
I, for one, am glad that you aren't in the pharmacy workforce anymore.

The reason the profession of pharmacy is in such a sad state is weakness and apathy from people like the OP and you.
I don't get it when OP said his doctor wouldn't prescribe partial meds. Why would he need a partial prescription? You can always ask pharmacy to partial fill as long as it is not CII and you are willing to pay out of pocket, right?
A misplaced desire to be transparent in his actions so he would appear innocent. I’m sure deep down OP knew taking drugs for himself was not kosher. These places will can you for taking a Mountain Dew so I’m not sure why he thought pills would be different.I don’t get it? Why would you ask the tech and not just take the tablets yourself? Depakote is not a controlled substance.
