I have worked with a pharmacist for a couple years now and have noticed that at times he gets spaced out. He would just space out and stop what he was doing and go into a sort of trance. It would take about 15-30 seconds before he snapped back to reality. It's been gettting progressively worse to the point that it is happening in front of customers.
After one incident where he spaced out in front of customers for 60 seconds I asked him about it afterwards. I asked if he knew what happened and if it was a migraine or something else. He stated that he was aware of the incidents and that it was some sort of seizure. He did not seemed concerned about it at all. I asked if he was taking medication to treat the symptoms, he stated no. This person drives a vehicle to work. I would feel horrible for them and whomever they hit if they had an episode behind the wheel. Yet, if I say something this person will probably lose their license for good. Should I tell someone? Yes, No, Who???
