I am wondering if anyone knows some good recruiters. I am graduating in June and am looking for Hospital work. The areas I am interested in are essentially the entire NW area (urban or rural). Figured if I can find a good recruiter and get active early it might help...Thanks!!

If two applicants are equal, the applicant that didn't use a recruiter usually gets the spot.

Nothing against them, but it's best to do your own legwork, build connections, and cut out the "middle-man".

No doubt it helped me to get my current position.

I am doing my own leg work while looking for positions, but, out of prudence I was thinking it might help to maybe align with a good recruiter as well. Not rely on them exclusively. Rebel78: What helped you get your current position, not using a recruiter? or using the recruiter helped?

I went without a recruiter. Between the internet and just knowing/calling a few directors, you can find out what is available locally as far as hospitals go.

For retail, just walk in and ask for the pharmacy manager (intern or tech) or ask for the supervisor's phone number (pharmacist).

LTC/home infusion facilities just about always advertise well for open positions. If your interested in mail order, just go straight to the company's site, they always have their lists updated.

Check local ads, career builder, and talk to folks. It's not hard, you'll find something in no time 👍
