Pharmacist salary in NYC

I graduate in 2014 with a lot of loans and was just wondering what people in NYC get paid as pharmacist. Is it around 125k per year and do you people think by 2014 signing bonuses will still be around?

I don't know what the salary is in NYC but I can guarantee you won't get a sign-on bonus. If you go to a rural area in need of pharmacists you might but most big cities like that are saturated. I live in a smaller city outside of Charlotte, NC. I just graduated. No sign on bonus. The job market is getting more competitive, and it will be even more competitive by 2014. I think you can still expect a $100k+ salary, but you will need to be flexible as to where you will work because you may have to move. You should probably go ahead and try to get a residency. I'm starting to regret that I didn't but I was too burned out from school. Granted there will be residents who can't find a job after residency, it will still increase your job opportunities especially if you have any desire to work in a hospital.

Getting a job in the city is very difficult. From what I heard from friends going into community, salary in New England is about $105-130K with NO sign on bonuses. They have way too much interest to need to offer sign on bonuses anymore.
