thanks. i know about the uspsh. im wondering more about non-governmental organizations, the ones where the MPH's usually work for. im guessing most pub health orgs dont need pharmacists? i read some article about pharmacists being able to boost pub health by increasing patient medication adherence. perhaps that could expand our profession a bit, or am i being uber-idealistic?
i know you can do a bunch of things with a pharmd, but the typical non-retail/hospital pharmacy work doesnt appeal much to me. i dont want to work for industry, for example. i also dont want to be a pharm drug rep (i dont have the tits and legs for it, yeah). pub health is something that interests me a lot more. and im sure there are a few pharmacists/pharmd students who have the same thing in mind.
