Hi folks,
What do you think is the best way to study Pharmacology? I've heard reading Katzung or any of these 'hard core' books is a total waste of time, others say Lippincott is excellent, yet others believe that a good set of class notes is what the 'doctor would prescribe!!!" I'd appreciate your help with this. Thanks in advance.

Pharm cards....make your own, don't by them.

Get some big note cards. One one side, list the name of the drug. On the other, list important information like class of the drug, mechanism of action, indications, and adverse drug reactions, plus any other random information your professor wants you to know. The act of making the card will help you remember the stuff and then you can quiz yourself efficiently when it comes time to study.
