I'm a PharmD graduate from India who wishes to work abroad as a Pv.
I wish to move to Canada or UK.
What would be the possible steps that I should follow? Should I apply in student visa? If so, which is the subject that I should take up?

Most pharmacovigilance jobs are either in industry or government. In order to work for the government you almost always have to be a citizen of that country, except in rare cases where there is a critical demand for a specific skillset, which is (arguably) not the cause for PV work. So you may want to start by seeing what opportunities there are for a path to citiznship first (marriage, military service, etc.). In terms of finding an industry job in the UK or Canada, I honestly wouldn't really know where to begin from your position. Does your university in India have any resources you could explore? Maybe search around the internet for fellowship or graduate programs that you qualify and that would be willing to sponsor you for a student visa, and then from there you could better network with potential employers...

Also, just a quick tip: even though this is an anonymous forum, folks will usually take you more seriously if you pay attention to spelling and grammar. I realize English is probably not your primary language, but at the very least you should be able to spell pharmacovigilance correctly.

This is an American board. You are asking a question that isn't related to the American practice of pharmacy at all. You should be posting this on Canada or UK pharmacy boards. Not an American one.

That being said both of these countries are nearing saturation and migrants from any country are in much less demand. You should go back to school for a MD then you will be in demand. No one wants to pay for external pharmacist when they can get them cheap domestically.
