Pharmacy and Anesthetic

Pardon my ignorance, but isnt pharmacy pretty similar to anesthetic? Since it involved the use of drugs to manipulate conditions on a patient, and pharmacists excel in their knowledge of drug-human interaction, what is the difference between anesthesiology and pharmacy? I know the difference exists but with a little bit more training, wouldnt a pharmacist be as efficient as an anesthesiologist? Just somethign curious that came into my mind🙁
