... there is no actual minimum amount of experience required for acceptance into pharmacy schools - plenty of applicants have been accepted with absolutely no experience at all ...
... i do feel that you should gain as much experience as possible -- not because it will strengthen your application -- but so that you know exactly what career your getting into ... i've met numerous pharmacists that are unhappy with their jobs (and lives), because they went to pharmacy school without having any idea of what working in a pharmacy is like - and by the time they found out that they wouldn't like it, it was too late to turn back (at least in their mind) ...
