Pharmacy in Five Years

In five years - perhaps not too much. In some areas, some changes are already occurring. However, I do believe the profession is undergoing change. Its difficult & speculation only to specifically say what direction it will take & how long it might take to have these changes get to different parts of the country.
But...you can be involved in the discussions if you're a pharmacist currently or a pharmacy student if you participate in state & national organizations. Your involvement can be as little as just keeping yourself informed by reading what others are doing or legislation which might affect you.
If you're not currently in the profession, you can get a little insight & a few links if you subscribe to Medscape whch is an online newletter.
