I will be starting my P1 this Fall. How hard is it to get a pharmacy intern postion (part time/20 hrs per week) in Walgreens or CVS or any other pharmacy?

As long as you have a pulse, could communicate effectively, and have satisfied the requirements of your respective state board (by having an intern permit), you should be fine getting a job that'll hover around 20hrs/wk. Getting a specific store may be hard.

Do it EARLY. I waited until end of fall semester to look for a job at a pharmacy and i didnt find one till a week after spring break! Some places even told me that they were not hiring andmore interns from my class (b/c they dont want all of the interns to graduate the same year leaving them with no experienced ppl). So my advice is start the week before school starts and work as many hours so you get a little bit familiar, and then say you want ~10-15 hours until you know how your work load is.

The earlier the better. Also if you already work as a tech, it may be easier to transfer and transition to an intern.
