Hi guys,

If I have a record of plaigerism (I sent a friend homework and he copied and pasted it), but get it expunged, do I still have to check yes when asked if I had ever been involved in misconduct? How bad will this hurt my chances?

Does it show up on your record? If so, check Yes. It won't really hurt your chances. If you have an opportunity, explain the situation.

We all make mistakes. If you get it expunged, then don't bring it up. However if you can remove it from your record, don't be afraid to bring it up.
Have a well prepared answer for when you are asked about it and what you learned from it (like you'll never do that again).
