I am in the proceeds of attending multiple school interviews!! What questions should I be prepared to answer? Do most schools also make you write an essay or take a math test? & If so what is the topic of the essay & what kind of math should I look over!

I'm very nervous & I feel unprepared!
I just want to get accepted plzzzzzz help!

And congrats to those who are already accepted into the program!!!!

Check the interview feedback section.

Where the hell do they make you take a math test for the interview?

As long as you can string together a bunch of sentences coherently you'll get past the essay. Ain't like they asking for some dissertation on Thoreau or anything.

Seriously. They are so explicit - all you have to do is demonstrate that you can write five to ten coherent sentences in logical order.

Be prepared to answer why you want to be a pharmacist. List any skills, talents that you might have that will make you a good pharmacist. Always know the history of the school you are applying to, so you can sweet talk them, but don't lay it on too thick. Treat it like a job interview.

Absolutely. Every interview I went to, they started me off with why pharmacy and why this school. It's not hard if you think about your motivations beforehand, and how you're a good fit.

Really brush up on your calculus! Interviewers love pop quizzes!

And don't forget organic chemistry 😀

I would review all midterms and final exams from prerequisite classes to prepare for interviews.

I would know your résumé very well and really research the schools your are applying to and what sets them Apart from all the rest. I went to Starbucks one afternoon and went through my résumé and predicted the types of questions they would ask if it was an open interview and they had my résumé and pharmcas open in front of them. And for the closed interviews I did my homework and researched the field about current events and did some soul searching about why I wanted to do this. I also researched pharmacy school questions in google.

Just be careful you don't practice too much and sound rehearsed. Always sound casual and be sincere.

Mercer University college of pharmacy and health sciences class of 2017! 🙂
