We usually keep tabs on new schools, but which schools have class sizes increasing? Share your school's info. Part of this will be to take a deeper look at saturation, and another part will be for those applying to see if their chances of admittance will increase.

Couldn't find a thread on this subject that was posted in a relevant, current time period.

This NIH study pretty much sums up the expansion crisis, but I'm more interested in the actual schools and recent expansions. I think this essay came out in June 2013.

USF's first class has around 57; the second class holds around 70 students. My class (3rd class) has 107 and it is expected that each subsequent year has a 100 student cap.

When did USF open again? That's quite a fast rate. Anyone know a site that list max capacity of different schools?

I know it's tossed around constantly, but this paper gives a generalist overview of the subject:

According to AACP reports, there were 7,000 first-professional PharmD degree graduates in 2001 and 11,931 in 2011, a 70% increase.6,7 Despite the rapid rate at which new pharmacy colleges and schools have been established, even greater growth of the academy has resulted from the expansion of previously existing programs. Of the increase in graduates from 2001 to 2011 by 4,931, only 1,886 (38%) can be attributed to new pharmacy programs; 62% of the increase resulted from the expansion of existing programs. Since 2001, 31 colleges and schools increased their number of PharmD graduates by more than 50%.6,7 There are now 41 satellite campuses—5 of which are in a state other than that of the parent program.5 Growth has been widespread, affecting every region of the country. Twenty-one states are projected to increase the number of statewide graduates by 100% or more during the 15-year period from 2001 to 2016

I just posted on that thread lol

I'm more interested in the specific schools that are increasing class sizes..maybe newly announced for example.

It opened 3 years ago. And it is. Then again the lecture halls can seat up to 110 students or so, so I'd say the first two classes were attempts to feel out how many students they can accommodate.
