  1. Pre-Pharmacy
I am really interested in pharmacy school but would not want to work in retail. From what i have read online I really like nuclear pharmacy alot.
My question is.. after graduation from pharmacy school do they have training in every state for specialties? I want to stay with my family in Wisconsin and Im wondering if even after training and school would it be possible to work in Wisconsin?

Is it probable to say if I did nuclear pharmacy I could work for a company in the state of Wisconsin or do certain companies in certain locations only make meds for that?

Sure...there are nuclear pharmacies WI. Cardinal currently has ones in Appleton, Madison, Marshfield, and Milwaukee. Doesn't look like Covidien (Mallinckrodt) has any in WI. And GE has one in Milwaukee too. And then of course there are independents...

I'm only familiar with Cardinal's AU program, which is done in conjunction with Ohio State University. It's 200 didactic hours + 500 experiential hours. 6 weeks are done at your pharmacy location and then 3 weeks in Columbus, OH. So that'll be the only time spent away from home.
