Hey there, I was thinking about doing pharmacy tech.

I wanted to ask about online courses and if they're accredited. I want to know if anyone's done it.

The reason I'm asking is because I've got school during the day to get a bachelor's degree. And I might possibly be moving locations midway, depending on my family. Any suggestions?

my suggestion? dont waste your money taking classes. Buy a study book at any bookstore, study on ur own and take the PTCE. They offer the exam pretty often, so check out ptcb.org. I did that, studied on and off for a week, tried to cram drug names into my brain the day of the exam and still passed. u can do it too. 🙂

Some chains like Walgreen's, where I work, will hire you without certification, and then provide you with the PTCB study books and pay you to go to review sessions, they'll also pay for the test. Also the test is not hard. Because I signed up to take the test so late, I missed all the classes, but I read the books and passed test no problem.
