Hi guys, I am trying to get certified to be able to practice as a pharmacy technician in Florida. I have a book that is 2010 edition and I was wondering if that would be good to study from. Also, any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I believe CVS gives you on the job training, and pays for your certification exam. Not sure if this applies to Florida though. Go to the CVS website and start applying for pharmacy technician jobs around your home. Depending on the area, you'll get a phone call within days, sometimes weeks if you want to do metro, i.e., Miami. Turnover rate is pretty insane, which explains the quick response. Let us know how it goes!

I have applied and called around, but it seems the best I can do is a part time atm
