for all you pharm tech out there, please help me out.

I want to be a pharmacy technician this year. Some people say i have to get certified, but how do u get certified. What are the steps that i have to take to do this.

If I get a BS in a science major, can i automatically be considered certify to be a pharm tech?

Nop. You need to pass an exam, it's called PTCB. google it to get more info.

You have to be enrolled in a technician vocational course or u can just study on your own and sign up to take the test. The test is pretty much pharmacy calculations, including conversion and unit cancellation and you have to know the trade and generic names and what they are used for, as well as their side effects. You have to know pharmacy law as well.
