Hey guys, this is Noel. Just have some quick questions on pharmacy technician requirements in Maryland.

You see, in Maryland, for certification, you need to be at least 17, be IN high school in a good standing(yes, in high school), or have a high school diploma, or have a GED. Then you have to pay all of your fees to Maryland's state board of Pharmacy. The question I have is, well questions actually, are am I able to sit down and take a test for national certification? The PTCB and ExCPT say that you need at least a high school diploma to be able to take their tests. Do they check for this at the door? How will they ever verify this? And does Maryland regulations for pharmacy technicians contradict with these tests regulations, and allow me to take them? The PTCB does not discriminate against age, but the ExCEPT states that you need to be 18. I turn 18 in January, but I am still in high school, a junior actually. But I am in good standing, with no criminal records. Please, can someone help me out? This is urgent. Thank you!
