i was wondering if anyone can give me advice.
i am going to start Santa monica college this fall and want to transfer to USC for their TAP program to pharmacy school. if not, at least transfer into USC as a biochemistry major in hopes to go to USC grad or UCSF.

however, i have no idea where to start. should i focus more on transferring from a CC to a university by taking the GE's or focus more towards chemistry and biology classes? should i start volunteer at a hospital now? is there time to complete prerequisites for pharm school when i actually transfer to a university?
if anyone can help thank you. i am bit confused and lost.

It depends on if you want to finish your pre-reqs in two years or go for a degree. If you want to finish in two years, you will most likely have to start out taking Chem 1 and possibly Bio 1. I don't know if USC looks down on courses taken at a CC, but you should look into that. I wouldn't think they would care much about where you take the liberal arts courses though.
