Dear Pharmacy Students,
For those who is already in pharmacy school, could you share w/ me your secret to writing that winning PharmCAS personal statement? Are there pre-health personal statement books out there that would help me write a strong statement (books w/ sample personal statement) ? Lastly, would anyone be so kind as to let me see a sample of their personal statement? Thanks a bunch.

A sample won't help much...b/c keep in mind that you should write about your personal experience..
1)about what makes YOU wanna be a pharmacist..and
2)why YOU wanna go to that particular school.....

personal statement are euh..PERSONAL..i don't advise anybody to send to anyone a personal statement or to read other people p/s.....

just take your pen and write what come straigh from your heart.. and have it proof read by friends/family....it will work...having a history that set you appart is what make your p/s stand out among many others...don't tell lies..b/c they can ask you questiond bases on what you said..it's always easier to remember the truth..lies can be difficult to keep up with....

I felt like you probably feel right now...before writing my p/s for the first time i felt like i have nothing special to say..i start looking for books..for ideas on what to write on..until a friend guide me trough the process of self examination...my life..mes parents' life...first time i consider p school...the thing i 've done in my life to get me there..the obstacles....you can at your turn use those questions to give shape to your p/s you'll see how you too have a lot to say about your life and how it relate to your desire to go to p school...

Good luck :luck:
