PhD in Health Science

Has anyone completed their PhD in Health Science specialize Epidemiology in 2.5 yrs or less? I am looking into a university that states it is possible. Of course, I'd be FT status. Thoughts/suggestions? Any personal experience welcome.

Are you asking within the context of a PhD only program, a PhD completely separate from your MD, or a MD/PhD program that includes MD funding?
