PhD program, under paid work or research???

I put it under research. You can put stipend under award if you want. That is what I did.
Dr.Z I also plan to finish this summer.. but I don't think I will defend till later. At this rate.. who knows, maybe summer of next year.

However, were you in one of those programs where you get a stipend for being a Teaching Assistant ie. teaching undergrad labs, grading etc? If the latter is the case, I would put the teaching experience under work experience.
