Does anyone know of an alternative for phentolamine in treatment of vasopressor extravasation?

In a previous thread, someone mentioned topical nitroglycerine. Any other suggestions?

Awesome! Do you know of any good sources to back it? It doesn't seem to be listed under any of the main DI sources, even as an off-label use. I found a couple of primary sources, but nothing incredibly substantial.

yar. found some decent sources for terbutaline and topical nitroglycerin, but they are sparse. anyway even though i'm just a student my hospital took my recommendations and acted on them. i feel so powerful lol
