is it typical of students to call schools on the December first to find out their status?

are you going to do it?

for which schools?

good luck everyone!

(i just realized it was midnight - got wicked excited - only to be faced with nothing! i'm soooo anxious - i don't think i will sleep tonight! - though I guess most of us are in the same boat!)

never mind on the question of whether you are going to do it or to which schools, but i'm still curious whether it is a common practice to call the schools to learn about your status on Dec 1?

call the school in the morning and ask them if its ok for you to call and ask about your status.

I know Indiana Univ dental school wants you to call their admissions office this morning. They probably want to save $$$ when it comes to long distance phone calls.

Oh well, I'm going to call them in 8 hours!!

One school I interviewed at was particularly irate about people calling much too often  So I don't think I will call anywhere for fear of annoying the nice staff folk, hehe. Plus it would be mean to make the people waiting to receive their calls wait longer! 🙂

How do you know that they want you to call them? Did they tell you that? I don't want to annoy them, but if that's what they want then I'll do it.

yeah, Indiana seems to definitely want it; just called them; a "yes" feels good 🙂
