Phone Interview?

Hi I am from Canada, and I was wondering if anyone was aware of whether or not schools do phone interviews rather than in persion interviews?

To my knowledge, all the programs in the us and Canada require an in person interview. They do this to judge your demeanor, dress, and personal interaction, not just having you answer questions. They want to make sure you can carry yourself well and can deal well with pressure. These things can't be assessed over the phone.
