This seems kinda silly, but I can't decide which picture to put for my secondaries. I'm debating if I should use one that shows more personality versus a passport type photo with a white background....thoughts?
Checklist:
duck face
sideways peace sign
incalculable photo angle.
When thinking about what photo to use, ask yourself if that photo makes you look like a physician or someone that would be a physician. They mostly use the photo to attach a face to the application, but you should expect bias to come into play if they are looking at a picture of someone who looks well-groomed and professional versus someone with a neckbeard coated with Cheetos crumbs.
If your passport photo looks bad, go get a new one. They only cost a few $$.
I used a picture of me funneling a beer 👍
wouldn't graduating photos (for those that graduated undergrad) be a pretty good source?
I'm not really a "SMILE!" kind of guy. Think I'm ok with just a neutral face?
That won't work for DO. DOs need a good reassuring smile to continue the charade that they are real doctors.

The best shot would be you in front of a bathroom mirror without your shirt on, looking at the camera/phone with a blank expression, and holding up a peace sign at an oblique angle.
Is there a way to eliminate that strained look on your face while you flex?
