hey all,
i need some help with the phrasing for part of an answer for a secondary question. the question asks if there are any time gaps in academic career and to explain them. so i have ultimately decided to take this year off rather than pursuing a master's degree. the reasons for this were that i felt i had reached an end to my studies and the options i had presented to me did not serve to further me along my academic path so rather than spend money on something that did not serve to meet my purpose (moving me further along the path to med school) and i had reached a logical end to my academic career (not including med school). also, i wanted to focus on other aspects of my life this year (ie volunteer work, spending time with family, getting my emt-b license, etc). i am having difficulty phrasing the reasons into a coherent sentence that conveys the reasons without sounding negative.
any help or advice would be appreciated 🙂
