Like neuro academically, but had a terrible neuro rotation. Was an athlete in a formal life, so had an interest in ortho stuff. Knew I didn't want to do anything operative. Really valued work/life balance and didn't want any nights. Had heard about PM&R from a friend's dad who did it. Did a couple of rotations and found "my people." Liked that I saw attendings combine seeming different areas within the field to create their practice. Interests within the field have changed as I went through training but like what I do now within the field.
