....

My teacher uses math to teach the class and i need somthing more tangible.

Does anyone taking pchem have a link class web pages which do a decent job of explaining this stuff?

Thanks

it is impossible to understand pchem. just use the math.

What are you studying hightrump? I was a chem major and did research in physical organic, so I might be able to offer some insight. But that was a while ago, and pchem sucks, so maybe not...

I think the key to p-chem is understanding the concepts behind the math. Don't just calculate out answers blindly without considering what it means. For example if you are writing out the Hamiltonian for an atom, make sure you understand what portion of the atom's energy each term in the Hamiltonian represents. If lectures suck, try reading the text. P-chem isn't as intuitive as classical physics but it really starts to make sense once you think about things at the molecular level.
