Hello Forum!

I was wondering whether Physical Biochemistry (1 and 2) would make up for my AP credit for General Chemistry 1 (considered an inorganic class). I understand that it is not a lab, but I am going to be taking a 4 credit hour Biochemistry Lab later on. I think my main concern is whether dental schools will view the classes as biology instead of chemistry.

not from my understanding?? my Pchem was an upper division and was a more intensive version of General Chem..

Physical Biochemistry or physical chemistry? I've taken physical chemistry (Pchem) and it is not like gen chem at all, my schools splits up the first sequence for thermo and second into quantum mechanics.

Physical Biochemistry. I looked at the syllabus and it is similar to Physical Chemistry (they added random biochemical applications of course). My university does have an inorganic chemistry class and inorganic lab. However, I don't want to take physical biochemistry (which is required for a biochemistry B.S.) AND inorganic classes if I don't need to.

I'm pretty sure you still have to take general chemistry
