Can anyone who was licensed in Florida tell me how long it took for the Board of Pharmacy to mail them the actual physical license. I understand I can check my licensure status online but I need to know when I will get the actual piece of paper. Thanks!

Here in the UK the postmen are all on strike so long delays. Under these circumstances ask for a faxed copy.

4 - 6 months or something like that.

I was licensed in August 2008 and finally received the actual physical license in May of 2009. I had given up on it at that point.

I was licensed in March 2008. Got the blue license card in about 2 weeks. Got the fancy wall certificate in March 2009!

To get the actual paperwork/license which is a little light blue 4" x 6" card then its' a couple of weeks. If we are talking about the big one you frame then that takes a few months. When I moved back to Florida, my employer accepted the screen print of my 'Active' license status online. So hopefully, your future pharmacy employer will be as reasonable.

Plus, most places are so anxious to have you start servitude  that a screen print of your license status online is acceptable.
