I just picked up a new Fully Loaded 1911-A1 Springfield. Beautiful piece. I can hardly wait to take it out on the range.

Hope the rest of you are having as much fun.

As a public service for those interested in this thread: I would recommend reading Unintended Consequences by John Ross. It is writtena s a novel, but descibes much of the history of firearms and gun laws inthis country - in detail. Mentions a lot of stuff I didn't know. I had to do a bit of research on my own to find out that a lot of the details are based on true facts.

Does anyone know anything about the Veteran's Bonus uprising in 1932? You might find it interesting to look into.

Definately a good read.

It really pisses me off when I see these punkass idiots mimicking the thugs on TV holding their "9" (******* nickname) sideways. Now when I see little kids play with cap guns and such...the little ****s are holding them sideways!!!! argh! Why no, of course the media has no effect on ppl.

DOWN WITH HOLLYWOOD! DOWN WITH TV! (except TLC, Discovery, Playboy and E's Wild on) 😉

Sorry for the tirade folks. I get excited sometimes. Why is it that ppl always want to act like the worthless punks and not like the cool doctors? Doctors hold their guns upright so they can see through the sights like the manual says, because they can read. Hehehe
