Physicians Poll!! (Only practicing physicians please, not residents)

So there is always a lot of controversy on SDN about how satisfied most doctors are with their jobs, and I thought it would be interesting to get a poll started to help other pre-meds with their decisions about medicine.

Please only respond to the poll if you are a practicing physician, NOT a resident..

Additionally if you would like to leave a comment pertaining to any of the following questions, it would be greatly appreciated..

1. Tell us something that you wish you knew before going into medicine?

2. Would you recommend the field of Medicine to others and WHY? (if no, please don't say that Medical school just sucks and is really hard, because I think that most of us seem to understand that)

3. Any other recommendations for those considering medicine?

Perhaps you did not notice but this forum is for the use of practicing physicians to talk to each other. An earlier poll showed that the users of this forum prefer to keep it that way and the majority do not wish to address students in this forum.

Moving your thread to the General Residency forum. If practicing physicians wish to answer your poll, they can do it there.
