physics C is the 3rd series of the 3-series-physics course at my institution.

General chem b is the 2nd series of the 3-series-chem course

is it easy to take together? i heard they are both mathematical so the disparity isn't too much in terms of methodology of studying

did well in chem A and ok in previous physics

Depends on your professors. The hardest class I took during my undergrad. career was the second Gen. Chem.. It was so much more difficult than any other upper level course, but only because the professor did not teach well and his exams consisted of really difficult problems. I wouldn't worry about taking the two together since they're entry level courses, but thats just my opinion.
