Ok, here's the deal:

I can take Physics with Orgo for 2 semesters, or I can split them up and take each seperately (it doesn't matter, both ways I apply the same cycle). Which should I do? Personally, I'm scared of Orgo 😕 :scared:.

Organic Chemistry and Physics are clearly very difficult classes. They will both take a couple of hours each day of studying to achieve a high grade. Nevertheless, many students take those classes together and do fine. If you are at all good at math, physics wont be as hard as it seems first semester, but it may get hard by second semester.

Also, remember that most students have their worst pre-dent grades in these classes, lots of us got a couple of C's.

I think that if they aren't your best subjects and if you can split them up without holding yourself back in any way, that might be the thing to do.

I think you will be fine provided that you don't load up on other courses. Count on organic and physics to suck up a lot of your time. If you are going to take additional courses, for example to maintain full-time status, I would recommend choosing some that are light on homework (i.e. gpa 'padding') and will allow you to direct most of your energy to those courses. Personally, I took a full year of physics over the summer while working full time (it nearly killed me, but I survived and got my 'A') as I didn't want to mix the two. I know several people that did what you are doing and they were alright. Personally, I liked organic a lot more than physics, but that is just me. Best of luck! :luck:

I really do not like the Orgo/Physics combination that's why I took Gen Chem/Physics first now I am taking Bio/Orgo. Physics is the least relevant of the prereqs so I got that out of the way first a long with General Chem.

Thanks for the responses guys 👍. I could always finish up orgo, take the DAT, and finish physics before I start dental school. I am really anal when it comes to my science courses, so I like to devote extra time to them 😱.

In that case take calculus based physics 😀

My friend told me the calc based is easier than the algebra based. 😕
