Hey guys I have a quick question. I’m taking physics 2 this upcoming semester which is just electricity/magnetism/optics. I haven’t taken physics 1 in a few years so I’m pretty rusty with physics. Which topics from mechanics should I review before physics 2? I’m still good with Newton’s laws force vectors and kinematics but that’s about all I remember. Thanks!

From what I remember those things are worth knowing/remembering. But I wouldn't spend too much time preparing/studying before the class starts. Personally, I would just cross that bridge when you get there! Good luck

I took physics 1 and 2 two years apart and I didn't feel like I was missing anything.

They are quite different in a sense, you can review newton's laws. Other than that they don't "overlap" much. Basic concepts carry over.
