I was talking to Wingates admissions about the Physics req, (I took 2 semesters of Algebra based) and they said that if I didn't take calculus based that I wouldn't be fully prepared for pharmacy school. Does everyone else agree

I can only laugh. Could you tell us if you spoke to secretary who sits on front desk or the dean of student affairs?

I'm not sure who i talked to. I Just called their admissions office and talked to a lady that picked up. I'm assuming by your response that she was wrong.

Well, I've only completed one year of pharmacy school, but anything I've seen so far that you need physics for at all is very minimal. I took the algebra-based physics also. My opinion is that whoever told you that bs is just trying to justify their requirements.

What the heck is that😕

That would be a sort of emoticon to resemble contempt, skepticism, or disbelief in something. Y'know, like a cocked eyebrow.

(Also disagree with the idea of calculus-based physics in undergrad being a sort of requirement for doing well in pharm school. But then again, I'm a premed kid.)

Unless their requirements have changed...when I applied last year (and was accepted) their physics didn't require calc based physics. They website doesn't say it either...
