SO WHO IN THE FORUM HAS THE PIMPEST RIDE?

Heres mine: 2004 Yukon XL 4WD. Leather, power-everything, sunroof. 9 inches of lift (RCD) sitting on 18" ARC retro-rims, 35" Nitto Dune Grapplers (notice the cool FLAME tread pattern exuding out!), 4:27 gears to compensate for oversized tires, cold air intake, throttle body lifter, computer-chip enhanced, limosine tint. DVD player. Sound system: Pioneer DVD multimedia receiver with Ipod hook-in in the glove box, four Alpine PDX5 speakers, two Pioneer 6.5 way speakers (TSD161R), Kinetik power cell, Kicker 4GA 4CH amp, Alpine 12" DVC 2 OHM S in a ported box. Plays Jay-Z's Da Bounce like I was from the hood. XM radio. Also a license plate reverse camera. Amber running lights. U bars. Alarm with remote start. 6" drop-hitch for towing da Robalo.

C'MON HOMIES!! YA CAN'T TOP THIS REDNECK-PIMP-MY-RIDE, HUH?

Dude - sweet truck! Where do you park the thing (at work)? There's no way I could get that thing in the parking garage at my hospital. Do you just look for the nearest Prius to park on top of?

I want those tires but with spinners...

Have the State Troopers busted you for the tint yet? Those guys have become Nazis in the rest of South LA!

Upgraded motor going in next month. 600+WHP on VP110 fuel will be nice.
An STI with a better power to weight ratio than a Viper, Z06, 911 Turbo, or F430 is always fun.
Pic was from a PDX at Road Atlanta. I spun out coming down turn 12 in the rain. Lots of fun, no damage.

How much is race gas these days?

My last fill up ( 3 x 6 gallon containers) was at 6.69 per gallon.
The price is now 7.99 per gallon.

My car has switchable maps- 360 hp on 93 octane, 475 hp on 110 octane.
So I pay $85 everytime i want a safe extra 115hp.

Only worth it because of the ability to have a computer adjust for the fuel.
ECUtek + AVCR.

I have the exact same car....and color...

How much did it cost to upgrade to what you have right now?

in case you were wondering, this is also my water ride. 🙂

Perrin FMIC, Ultimate Racing GT35, AVCR, Walbro, PE850 injectors, headers, custom downpipe, Tial WG and BOV, Greddy catback.

www.topspeedsales.com Doug Wilks for tuning.

about 10K. The new motor will be a custom "Time Attack" assembly, all forged, new block and heads, custom cams, custom porting and polishing, oiling modifications (proprietary to TopSpeed), new radiator, triple carbon clutch. Add another $20k.

Looking for 450-500 whp on pump and 600-650 on VP110.
Subaru makes a nice car, and now I have the equivalent investment of an M3, but with the right driver can run 10's in the 1/4 mi. Wife said I couldn't get another bike (wrecked the last one before we started having kids) so this is my compromise.

Uploading pics is easy- put the photo online somewhere and click the pic icon in the new post window. Paste in the URL.

how do you guys upload pictures? tried to and it didn't work.

Subscribe to a service like photobucket. Upload the photos there, then copy the URL into the photo tag. I'm never successful "uploading" photos to SDN. I think they want to conserve bandwidth. I can understand why with the gigs of photos on this site.

Here's my WATER RIDE with my pahtna at the wheel.

Nice Jet. That must be a lotta fun. When I was a kid I used to have a 13 foot Boston Whaler with a 40 HP Johnson. That thing could pull a skier, though the dude in the water needed to drag a bit as the boat was trying to plane.

Do you fish with that thing?

WOW....what a cool thing to have as a kid, CF....a Boston Whaler! With a steering wheel I'm sure.....when I was a kid (around 12) I dreamed of having a little boat with a steering wheel since I was stuck with an 8 foot dinghy with a 4hp Johnson on it....you know, the little motors that you steer by moving the motor itself with the handle.....I'd have to move the throttle all the way forward then move to the front of the dinghy to get it to plane off!

Yeah, fishing...thats all I've used this boat for. And the occasional joyride.

LOL It sure was fun. My little bro and I, with some help from pops, bought it. It needed some work, and a new motor, but we polished that bad boy right up. Yep, had a steering wheel driven by cables ofcourse...

The cool thing about it was how low to the water it was. So, it felt like you were going twice as fast as you really were.

Cool story about hopping to the bow. LOL Hey dude, Jet ain't drivin no 8 footer nomo though!!
