Does anyone from previous years know any more info on the Pitt high waitlist? For example, like how many people are on it and when have people gotten off of the waitlist in the past?

I'm on the general waitlist and in my email they said that there are usually at least 100 people ahead of the general waitlist. They also said that in previous years some people on the general waitlist do get offered spots, it's just later on in the year once most deposits have already been paid.

I know icecreamswirls already asked this, but does anyone have any info on what the chances are of getting off the High WL? My friend got on it last month and has no idea what the chances are of getting off. Do most people get off? Only a few?

What ended up happening to those who were on the high wait list?
