Pitt versus Vandy

I recently got off the waitlist at Vandy and am now facing a dilemma as to whether I should withdraw from Pitt and pick Vandy instead . . any opinions from current med students at either schools or applicants who are in a similar situation?

Hey, I once faced the exact same dilemma. My solution was to pick OHSU. In the event that this isn't possible, I agree with the previous poster: NASHVILLE SUCKS.

it's kinda sad but there doesn't seem to be much love for vandy on sdn. i.e. the pitt people have their own class of 2007 thread while there's no such thing for vandy. my 'official' vandy thread only got like 5 posts...hehe.

When I looked at the two, I thought Vanderbilt would be the best medical school experience.

Alas, my waitinglists have not been kind enough to offer a choice of either....
